Baltimore City Department of Transportation - PUBLIC NOTICE • May 14, 2024

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation is taking public comments regarding our Dockless Vehicles for Hire revised Rules and Regulations developed by BCDOT and its partners.  These regulations affect fleet size, parking requirements, equity zones and distribution, rider education, equity of access, safety and vehicle standards, and data reporting. 

The permit regulations are available for public comment on May 15, 2024 through June 15, 2024. Comments should be submitted to Baltimore City by email to brett.thorne@baltimorecity.gov, by leaving a voicemail at 410-396-6802, or via mail to DOT Transit Bureau, 417 E. Fayette Street, 5th Floor, Room 559, Baltimore, Maryland 21202.

The revisions to the 2024 regulations were discussed during the last Micromobility Committee Meeting (April 2024). The meeting presentation, minutes, and recording can be found on the Micromobility Committee website.
